What We Do

Life after prison can be daunting especially for those living independently for the first time. We are with them on their journey of change.

In2Out offers particular help to those in custody in the Keppel Unit on HMYOI Wetherby, who have multiple and complex needs. Through our Life Skills Challenge, we help them through the transition to independent living by equipping them with life skills such as cooking, cleaning, personal hygiene and budgeting. Many go on to join our mentoring and resettlement process.

Through our resettlement process we are able to provide support and assistance across a variety of issues, helping address individual needs, where previously there had been very little. In2Out mentors begin working with participants whilst they are still in custody, typically between 3 to 6 months prior to release and continue for, on average, a year back in their local communities.
