In2Out offers particular help to those in custody on the Keppel Complex Needs and Napier Enhanced Support Units at HMYOI Wetherby. Through our Foundations Project, we help them through the transition to independent living by equipping them with life skills such as cooking, cleaning, personal hygiene and budgeting. Many go on to join our resettlement mentoring process.
Our Resettlement Mentoring Support provides support and assistance across a variety of issues, helping address individual needs, where previously there had been very little. In2Out mentors begin working with participants whilst they are still in custody, typically between 3 to 6 months prior to release and continue for, on average, a year back in their local communities.
